10 Beauty Tips

1. In the morning, splash your face with cold water to improve blood circulation.
2. Wash your pillow cases weekly. Keeping your pillow cases clean will help you avoid unwanted break outs. Also, it’s sanitary.
3. Never pick or “pop” your blemishes. Blemishes are caused by excess sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells. When you pick on your blemishes it can cause infections to spread and ultimately worsen your acne, instead wash your face daily.
4. Don’t wash your face too often; washing your face too often can strip away your natural oils and cause your pores to clog up. On the other hand, washing your face too little can cause excess oil build up and the development of blemishes. I recommend washing your face 2 or 3 times a day.
5. Always apply sunscreen. Sunscreen decreases the development of skin cancer, premature wrinkles, and can also prevent facial brown spots and skin discoloration.
6. Don’t exfoliate your skin too often. Over- exfoliating can cause skin irritations and break outs.
7. Gently wash or apply things on your face. When you harshly wash or apply moisturizer to your skin, it causes premature wrinkles.
8. Don’t brush or comb your hair after washing it. When your hair is freshly wash, it's fragile. Combing or brushing can cause hair breakage or spilt ends. Instead, “hand comb” (gently run your hand through) your hair. You can also let your hair dry and comb it afterwards.
9. Never cut your cuticles, only push them back. Cutting your cuticles could lead to infections and interfere with your fingernail's growth.
10. Message lotion into your cuticles for longer and healthier nails.
